Last year, I began the work to hike fines on polluting water companies from a meagre maximum of £250k.

Today, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirms that this will happen.

Fines will go into on-the-ground improvements to water quality.

For over 30 years, income taxes have been unfair to families.

A family with two £30k salaries will pay £7k less tax than a single earner getting the same total.

We should give families more freedom and do what Lawson planned.

We need to be bold.

It’s time for tax reform at every stage in people’s lives – including for those who’ve worked hard to hand something down to their loved ones.

It was great to catch up over a cup of coffee with so many local people in Long Sutton this week, alongside local Councillor John Kennett.

We spoke about a range of topics! I always appreciate hearing what constituents are thinking and how I can help.

It was great to formally open Fleet’s ‘BSL Festival’ this morning! Stalls will be at Hart Shopping Centre until 5pm, so do head on down if you have some time this afternoon.

Lovely to stop by at Hartley Wintney CC today, for their annual match against Hampshire CCC.

Super weather and our local team were doing very well!
