A great family afternoon at the Hook Village Show!
From Jez Avery’s stunts to the Annual Dog Show in the main arena, there was something for everyone. My daughters were delighted to present the prizes, on behalf of the judges!
It was wonderful to have the chance to thank our ‘Poppy Collectors’ in Fleet today – on Armed Forces Day – from the Fleet and Church Crookham Branch of the Royal British Legion, some who’ve collected your donations for over 25 years.
Today is Armed Forces Day – a chance to celebrate all our Armed Forces from currently serving troops, Service families, cadets, reservists and veterans.
In North East Hampshire, we’re proud of those serving at RAF Odiham, and the three Chinook squadrons based there.
This week is English Wine Week and I’m looking back to my visit to Penn Croft Vineyard, based in Crondall – a local business with a mission to create planet friendly wine.
In North East Hampshire, we’re proud of our local brewers like Andwells Brewery near Hook, Little London Brewery and Sherfield Village Brewery, who brew a real variety of beers.
It was great to join Fleet Social and Bowling Club in their centenary celebrations, who were joined by players from Bowls England for a celebratory match in the sunshine.
